Head of Marketing
Who We Are
Instil is ambitious about reimagining the relationship between nonprofits and their technology, and we see an exciting future that goes beyond donor management:
A platform that will make our customers more collaborative, connected, and informed in an increasingly digital world.
Our team is an energetic, ardent group that collectively represents some of the deepest, most meaningful experience at the intersection of enterprise software and nonprofit organizations.
Instil is looking for an experienced, creative, and data-driven leader in enterprise software marketing to develop and scale a comprehensive marketing strategy that will drive KPIs and shape the identity of the Instil brand. This role is critical as we bring a very unique product into a competitive space.
This is a very special opportunity to make an impact, reporting to Karen Gift, COO. You will help build a marketing team from the ground up, supported by leadership with a proven track record of success, and alongside a high performing, high EQ GTM team.
What You Will Do
Experiment. Implement, track, and measure various approaches across multiple channels to better understand what works best for our unique brand.
Collaborate. Work directly with Sales and Product to establish a dynamic and methodical go to market strategy that explores the nuance and challenges of the nonprofit sector
Drive Demand. You’ll own our top of funnel strategy, a critical component to providing sales with the tools they need to meet and exceed KPIs.
Develop a content strategy that captures and amplifies the genuine voice of our company as the champion of our customers.
Manage our Paid Media partners on cross channel campaigns to ensure consistency in messaging throughout the funnel.
What You Possess
A results-oriented approach to revenue, understanding that quantity without quality is meaningless.
Preference for a high impact, high velocity startup environment with proven ability to work with a sense of urgency and agility
Unabashed, insatiable curiosity for your craft, and an experimental mindset. You constantly geek out on inventive ways to better engage prospects, develop our voice, and leverage modern tools.
Experience with product differentiation marketing in a competitive environment
Ability to balance hands-on execution with high-level strategy. Always asking “how could this improve?”, but also ensuring immediate accomplishments.
Authenticity! You’re as excited as we are about helping nonprofits in their mission, and crafting campaigns that will make our story and value proposition ubiquitous and resonant.
